Opened in 2007, the Chengdu Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center (CCNICEC) is located in the south of the city. The zone consists of several huge convention/ exhibition halls, and supporting facilities including sightseeing, shopping and hotels (Intercontinental Century City Chengdu and Holiday Inn Century City Chengdu – other hotels like Fairmont Chengdu and Intercontinental Global Center Chengdu are very close).

It is a multifunctional Expo Complex  with Convention & Exhibition, Culture Entertainment & Leisure, Resorts, office, commercial and residential areas combined.
